At We Love Diamonds, all our diamond jewellery is sent to you sized to your precise specification but we offer a completely free ring resizing service should you require an adjustment. Just contact us to facilitate this.
If you require a bespoke size (like a half size, a US size, an EU size etc.) just let us know when you place your order and we will be delighted to arrange this for you absolutely free of charge before we even send your item(s). After delivery, we will then provide you with a completely free size adjustment on your ring purchase if needed.
If you really do not know the ring size you want at the time of your order then just select "unknown" as the ring size during your checkout process. We will then supply your ring in the standard/average size of 51 to 53 mm (an L/M UK ring size) and as soon as you receive your ring and are able to determine the precise size required you can return it to us for a free resizing if needed.
Our free downloadable guide (which always comes with your purchase on a luxury USB) gives two robust methods to assess the ring size you need but we've included an extra method below for you:
If you have a ring with a similar band width worn on the same finger that you'rebuying a ring for just place that ring over the various circles shown in our guide until the circle completely fills the rings centre with no gaps. If you are unsure between two sizes always choose the larger size.
If you do not have a ring to compare just print and cut out our free sizing tool, slip it over the finger and adjust until it fits comfortably. Make sure it can slide over the knuckle without being too loose on the finger. If the knuckle is significantly larger than the base of the finger we recommend you measure the base and knuckle and then pick a ring size between the two. Remember also that your fingers will expand and contract with temperature so for an accurate size you need to measure the finger under normal temperature conditions.
You can also just use a piece of string carefully wrapped around the ring finger and then mark it with a pen to get a length which you can then measure with a ruler (be sure not to stretch the string). You can then compare that measurement of the fingers circumference to the respective ring sizes below.
Please note that the band width of any ring can make a big difference to the ultimate fit as can the rings unique design. That's why our free resizing service is so useful.

Our free downloadable guide (which always comes with your purchase on a luxury USB) will give you a good idea of your bracelet size. There are 3 steps for the perfect fit:
Step One
If you are printing our bracelet sizing guide off yourself then you must print it at 100% and not select the “scale to fit page” or “shrink to fit page” options. The ruler shown on the guide should measure 12 inches.
Step Two
Cut out the ruler from the page.
Step Three
Wrap the paper ruler around your wrist - ideally on the part of your wrist where you want the bracelet to sit/rest. Read the number where the ends of the ruler overlap. This is your bracelet size in terms of your basic wrist circumference (before anything like draping is considered).
Some more tips and notes for you:
Many of our diamond bracelets like our diamond tennis bracelets are pre-sized and one-size-fits-all. This is often because the design of the bracelet is adjustable by design so the bracelet size doesn’t usually matter as the bracelets will likely be easily adjusted by moving links around. Most customers prefer a draped fit anyway. Other bracelets are available in various sizes. Either scenario will always be made clear in the webshop and at checkout.
If you prefer a wrist-hugging and perfectly snug fit you should use the actual measured circumference of your wrist and, at most, add 1/4” to 1/2” to the size.
If you would prefer a loose fit then increase your measurements in increments of 1/4 or 1/2 inches until you find the ideal draped fit for your wrist.
For women, the sizes of a bracelet being worn snug to the wrist vary. A delicate wrist with an actual circumference size of 5.0“ to 5.5” is considered Extra Small (XS). A wrist size of 5.5” to 6.0” is considered Small. The standard Medium size is 6.0” to 6.5”. A firmer wrist of 6.5“ to 7.0” is a Large size and An Extra Large (XL) size would be 7.0“ to 7.5”. As a guide, a bracelet with a loose, draped fit would typically be around 7.5“ to 8.3” in a medium size.
Larger link or chunkier sized bracelets should fit tighter to the wrist than thin bracelets. Mens bracelets, ankle bracelets, bangles, stretch bracelets and double wrap bracelets will all have their own unique sizing requirements.
Necklace length is personal choice and often dependent on other necklaces and pendants you may be wearing, your outfit and indeed a particular occasion.
If you want to use an existing necklace as a guide then measure a necklace by stretching it out on a flat surface in a straight line. You then measure it from one end of the clasp to the other end. If you’re measuring for a choker necklace you will definitely want it to fit comfortably around your neck. We recommend using a flexible tape measure to first identify your neck size. Then add 2 inches / 50mm to your neck size to identify your perfect choker size.
Some of our choker diamond necklaces come in a single size although many of these designs do have an adjustable clasp. We’re always happy to resize your necklace for you for free in line with our terms and conditions of business. Choker Necklaces are typically 14" to 16" in length. Collar Necklaces are 16" to 18", Princess Necklaces are 14" to 16", Matinee Necklaces are 20" to 24", Opera Necklaces are 28" to 32" and Rope Necklaces are 32" or more.
Common lenghts in inches and milimetres are as follows:
14" / 360mm
16" / 405mm
18" / 460mm
20" / 510mm
22" / 550mm
24" / 610mm
30" / 760mm
36" / 915mm
There are countless styles and designs of diamond earrings but diamond studs are the classic choice. When it comes to diamond studs there are many options and these are the absolute standards:
Round Brilliant Cut Diamonds are the most popular choice as they offer maximum brightness, fire and sparkle.
Princess Cut Diamonds (square shape) are also highly appealing for studs on account of their absolutely exquisite and symmetrical facet arrangement which helps underpin superb sparkle and scintillation.
Cushion Cut and Oval-Shaped diamonds are increasingly popular as they offer a vintage and feminine look.
Asscher and Emerald-Cut diamond studs have beautifully angled cuts which also give a real vintage look.
Heart Shaped, Pear Shaped and Marquise Cut diamonds have a very unique and bold style
The setting of the diamond is very important and the most common options are a 4 Prong Setting, a Halo Setting, a Martini Setting and a Bezel Setting.
